Terms of Use
Rules for using the Principles app and related services.
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Principles. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old and able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Principles only with permission from a parent or guardian.
Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You agree to provide accurate birth and profile information.
- You may not share, sell, or transfer your account without our consent.
App content and license
Principles, including text, design, software, and chart outputs, is owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for your own non-commercial self-discovery and development.
You may not:
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or resell the service or its outputs at scale
- Use the app to harass, defraud, or violate another person’s rights
- Attempt to bypass purchase, access, or security controls
Not professional advice
Principles is designed for reflection, self-discovery, and personal development. Chart readings, daily content, and reports are informational only. They do not constitute medical, legal, financial, investment, or psychological advice, and they are not a substitute for professional counsel.
Subscriptions and purchases
- Paid subscriptions and one-time reports are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play through RevenueCat.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period in your store account settings.
- Refunds are handled according to the policies of the store where you purchased.
- Deleting your Principles account does not cancel an active App Store or Play subscription. Cancel in your store account settings.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal information.
Termination
You may stop using Principles at any time and may request account deletion in Settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if required for security or legal reasons.
Disclaimer of warranties
Principles is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of Principles.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
